I never would have figured out that it was related to that one setting, so I probably would have continued to assume that creating randomly named folders for downloads in progress was normal behavior for qbittorrent.Īnyways, all of my issues were definitely user error. Once I turned off the "Keep incomplete torrents in:" setting, it started working normally (no more randomly named folders being created). It wasn't until Xlltt was kind enough to point out that qbittorent doesn't create randomly named folders in the default settings, that I realized this wasn't normal behavior for qbittorrent.
